‘Test for English Communication Skills’

Dear Principal,

We are very glad to inform you that our company is now offering a new free service in India. We have just launched TECS to test English communications skills.

As you know, many students who can read and write English well, have a challenge when it comes to communicating in English. Students sometimes lack confidence when it comes to speaking, and understanding, and there is often a strong influence of the mother tongue on accent and pronunciation.

We request your approval to conduct a One day TECS program in your institution to test the English Communications skills of your students.

TECS will be conducted using both Oral and Written Tests:

• Oral skills test: Placement Test using Eyespeak software in your Computer Lab.
• Written skills test: Linguaphone Placement Test

Each student will complete the test in about 15 minutes.

We will then collect and collate the results and present the findings to you in the form of a Management Report. As mentioned above, there will be no fees for conducting the TECS program.

If you desire, we can also conduct the TECS with your teachers, and include the findings in our report. A sample report is given below, for your information.
